Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind by:
Spending regular time alone with God in personal prayer and Bible study.
Faithfully attending weekly worship.
Faithfully attending weekly Bible study.
Committing to obey God’s Word in Scripture through the conviction and interpretation of the Holy Spirit.
Loving God and not money. Being a tither as the basic minimum in faithful giving.
Faithfully serving in ministry.
Loving one another in the Body of Christ.
Being a positive and fruitful witness for Christ (inside and outside the home).
